Who got you started in BMX?: My next door neighbors the Hofflands, they were big into rode for factory Haro.

What are you doing for school now?: I am in my 3rd year of college and I want to go into economics when I get older.

How's the riding scene in So-Cal?: Its kind of lame, no one really rides here.

Name one thing you like the most about racing BMX: The pressure. I think if it wasn't for everytime I get on that gate and didn't feel some butterflies I wouldn't like it as much.

You won the ABA NAG 5 Challenge in 2005... what's different about that race from the rest?: It's all the fastest AMs out there and its's the only race where people actually pay to come watch us ride. It's the one place to really show off how fast you are.

How's that Xbox 360 you won been treatin ya?: It was good, I sold it. I never really opened it up haha. I don't like xbox, I am more for playstation.

At the 2005 ABA Grands if you would have won... the AM title would have been yous. What happened?: I don't know, I think I was just trying to hard. Some pressure and nerves, I don't know I gues it was just a bad lap on my part.

How long have you been with Phantom/Ontrac?: Almost 3 years in April. The best team in the world and wouldn't leave it for anything. They are nice people and treat me like family.

What are your plans for olympics 2008?: I don't really have any plans for the Olympics I guess just train as hard as I can and go to the races I need to go to and see what happens from there.

Are you planning any NBL races next year?: Yea I am planning on some NBL, not a lot of them but some UCI races and then to make some extra cash will be nice.

What made you decide to turn A Pro in Reno?: I actually wanted to go the year before but I didn't end up going. I figured I had just won the grands, got NAG 1, I didn't have the rider count any more to win the AM title so my next move was to go pro and have a little fun with racing.

You got your first pro win in Reno January 2006... what was in your head during the three mains?: The thing most going through my head in the three mains was dang I love this. This is way funnier then AM mains. It's a totally different feeling.

Name your top three competitors right now: Right now my 3 main people are David Herman, Joey Bradford that would be you, and Warren Mcdow. The old amateurs.

What were some of the differences between racing AM and Pro?: 3 Mains I guess that is the biggest difference I would say. The first main when everything is so quiet that is another and just funnier I guess those are the big things.

Racing AA will be no joke... do you think you are mentally and physically ready for the AA Pro Class?: I think mentally I have been ready for that class for a while and I want to turn Double A but I think I need to train a little harder I have been slackin a little but give me a month and I will be ready physically for that class.

What will be your next few races on your schedule?: Im not going to Guthrie. Las Cruses, Washington, Bakersfield, Phoenix, those are some ABA. NBL - Boulder, Nellis, the CA ones.

When are we going to see you at the UCI Worlds?: This year I will be in Canada for sure. This year I need to rip it up for the USA there will be some good guys there and I would like to see where I stack up compared to them.
